We spent the morning leisurely wandering around Bagore ki Haveli, one of the recommended old heritage homes to visit, now turned into a museum.  The most interesting collection was an array of about 60 different turbans including ones to try on.
For all those fashionista’s out there here’s the latest Indian trend.

We then took a boat trip to Jagmandir Island, on the lake.

View of the Lake Palace Hotel  of James Bond Octopussy fame, unfortunately were unable to book lunch there as we were considered unworthy, but not all is lost there is another island called Jagmandir with a hotel that we were allowed to visit on our boat trip, this one's claim to fame is that Shakira will be staying here next month, and if you’re interested rooms are available for a mere 25000 rupees a night, that's about £300 a night, what a honeymoon bargain.

Now for a reality check, our accommodation for tonight will be on the night train to Jaipur

and there may or may not be wi-fi available in the hotel where we will stay for the next 2 nights.
